I’m a Jesus-loving teen with a love for the Word of God and a passion to study it! I find joy in writing, speaking, and designing, all for the Kingdom of God.

In 2023, I founded Live As Light, a non-profit, online ministry encouraging girls through Instagram posts and blogs. Two years later, I’ve grown in the gifts God has given me and found new ways to build this ministry for His glory. The Lord has taught me that light is so much more than what the sun shines. Light is God. Light is His Word. Light is Jesus. And the light that is Jesus is the light His followers are to carry.

I’m your average 17-year-old girl yearning each day to know the light of His Word more and carry the light of Jesus with me. I love coffee, running, and reading. Slow mornings at a coffee shop and quiet nights in are my favorite. I am rejuvenated when I have moments alone. I almost always have a question, and I love knowing as much as I can about the people in this seemingly big, but small world.

As babies, we learn how to eat, how to walk, and how to perform daily functions. Just as babies learn to walk, Christians must study God’s Word, the light to our path, in order to walk in the light of the Lord.

Living as light is more than just being a light for Jesus. It is delighting and dwelling in the light that is God, knowing the light that is God’s Word, glorifying the light that is Jesus, and living as He did in the light that is God’s creation.
